He attended the Ignacio Manuel Altamirano school, but the harsh realities of his environment meant his formal education paused after the fourth grade. At eighteen, while others were settling into their lives, Luis walked into an adult night school. He chose to reclaim his future. This return to the page was not just about learning to write; it was about finding a way to speak for those who are often left behind by the world. His life is a bridge between two worlds.
